‘Shark Tank’ lifts ABC; ‘Blue Bloods’ buoys CBS

“Shark Tank” hooked young adults for ABC, and “Blue Bloods” brought in the most viewers for CBS.

Friday was a night of split victories: Disney-owned ABC won the 18-to-49 age group in prime time, but CBS remained the most-watched network.

“Blue Bloods” was tops with 10.7 million viewers, an impressive showing for any Friday show. CBS also aired “Golden Boy” (7.4 million) and the tearjerking reality favorite “Undercover Boss” (7.3 million).

But ABC was able to reach young adults with its lineup, which ranked second in total viewers: “Last Man Standing” (7 million viewers), “Malibu Country” (5.9 million), “Shark Tank” (6.9 million) and “20/20″ (with 5.6 million viewers).

NBC unveiled a new Friday lineup: “Fashion Star” with 3 million viewers, “Grimm”  with 4.9 million and “Rock Center With Brian Williams” with 3.8 million. Fox offered fresh installments of “Kitchen Nightmares” (3.3 million viewers) and “Touch” (2.6 million). The CW presented “Nikita” (1.4 million) and “Cult” (just 680,000 viewers).

The prime-time averages in total viewers: CBS with 8.5 million, ABC with 6.3 million, NBC with 3.9 million, Fox with 3 million and The CW with 1 million.

In Orlando, “Shark Tank” was the most-watched show with 195,000 viewers. The rest of the top five were “Last Man Standing” with 173,200 viewers, “Blue Bloods” with 165,000, “Malibu Country” with 163,300 and “Undercover Boss” with 113,900. Two other programs topped 100,000 viewers: “20/20″ with 105,300 and “Golden Boy” with 105,200.
